Kester Brewer is fairly well known in emerging church circles and has just recently revamped his blog. He's written a book called 'The Complex Christ' - I've not read it yet but have it on my list. Just thought his latest post was quite amusing and interesting in the light of what we were thrashing out on Wednesday evening!

Though not totally comfortable with homosexuality in action must say I agree with Kester Brewer's comments. I can definately say AMEN to: "Personally, I think the whole issue is a huge distraction. While serious injustice remains, with famine, wars and global warming, the huge and divisive focus on attitudes to homosexuality as some benchmark for faithful belief is a travesty."
